Once upon a time in Germany, the diet went bust....
The carnage included (but was not limited to)... pistachio nougat, chocolate muffins, full fat milk, beer, gluvine, caramelised nuts, chocolate, chips, crepes, cake (for breakfast!), pina colada and pain au chocolate.
We got back on Monday night and last night I went along to Ess Dubs (SW - Slimming World, get it?). Of course I was going to gain after all that so I got there super early so I could escape as quickly as possible.
So this week, I gained 2.5lbs. To be honest, it could have been a lot worse. As I mentioned in my previous post I am feeling annoyed that it's week four and I've made jack all progress but this is the long game and it's time to get my head down and have a killer week. Onwards!

Current Weight: 202.5 pounds
Weight Loss This Week: +2.5 pounds
Total Weight Loss: 2.5 pounds
Uh oh. Vacations are the worst!
ReplyDeleteI always think it's better to lose the weight slowly than try and achieve too much too quickly. I've been playing the diet game VERRREEE slowly since about june or july and i've only lost about six or seven pounds max, but I figure it's better to be realistic and know I can still have some of the things I want.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, for the past couple of weeks I've pretty much eaten EVERYTHING I want though. Need to jump back on the diet wagon, I guess...

It's a long term game, like you say, and you're allowed to have a week on the bench now and then. You can do it comrade, go go go!
You're still on a net loss! And it sounds like you had mucha fun in Germany... Personally I love cake for breakfast (although sometimes they call it a 'muffin' but it's still cake)
